Crossbody Bag (Travel) Essentials

When you're out and about in another country, city or even running errands in the city you live in, having essentials readily available is critical and efficient. They make you feel like an organized and productive adult - prepared and organized. 

You can have them neatly packed in your backpack, purse or crossbody bag for convenience. 

I'm always wearing a crossbody bag that contains all my essentials every time I'm travelling - at the airport(s), exploring a new city, country, or even just revisiting a foreign place I've already been to. 

Travel essentials are the little important things you use on a regularly basis and don't even think about or realize you need until they're not available when you actually want them. 

Throughout my travels I've managed to put together a solid collection of essentials that have been exceptionally useful and have gotten me a lot of compliments. 

I'm thinking about the time when after a delicious taco lunch with some friends in a restaurant on the side of the road in rural Mexico, I pulled out a pack of mint dental flossers and a hand sanitizer. 

Or that time someone needed a Kleenex and tada! and Voila! Not to mention the countless times I've used the Crest mouth spray or excel mints after one of those spicy meals...you get the idea. 

Having essentials within reach is about preparation and convenience. Every time I leave the house they are a must have, as I will eventually run into a situation where I'll need them.

My list of essentials is always evolving, growing, and changing. Location and situation / scenario matter. That being said, I do have a core set of fundamental essentials that will come in handy regardless of where you are or in what situation you're in. 

So without further ado, here are my essentials for inspiration. Feel free to adjust it to your own preferences:

  4. Chaptstick
  5. Bandaid
  6. Tissues (Mouchoir)
  7. Dental Flossers 
  8. Hand Sanitizer
  9. Mouth Spray
  10. Excel Mints
  11. Hand Lotion
  12. Power Bank
  13. Portable Fan
  14. Sunscreen
  15. Mini Flashlight
  16. Chewing Gum (Optional)
  17. Lighter (Zippo) - Optional
